A highly experienced and versatile musician who can provide a wide variety of classic hits from various genres. Complete with lights, PA and backdrops he is a completely self contained act. Murray Clarke can also provide a backing band of professional musicians.

I’m a completely self contained act complete with PA and lighting

Do you have a sound limiter?

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide a playlist before and between sets. I can provide a DJ service for an additional fee.

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

Performing aboard the QE2 in Dubai, performing on the UK national news was a fantastic experience!


Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I would struggle to just one! I am inspired by Tom Jones, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, Wayne Newton, but also the likes of Jessie J, Steven Tyler, Snarky Puppy, Guns N Roses, Joe Cocker, Quincy Jones…..they all inspire my performance in one way or another. I love music of all kinds.


What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I have performed in music since high school. Wether on stage in musical productions or behind the kit as a drummer.
I trained as a percussionist and vocalist at The Royal Marines School of Music, I have many qualifications in music, including a LCM Diploma with and Approved Upper Level pass of 92%.

I have performed consistently for 25 years with various groups, tours and theatres.


What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I love performing at all different types of events I enjoy the variety and the challenges that come with them.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I am happy to perform outside provided that my equipment is provided sufficient shelter from the elements.


Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I will of course accept requests. I would always advise checking in advance to ensure that I have the music and that I can perform the song. I have a large repertoire of music and will take requests on the day, if I have them, I’ll sing them!?
