About / Biography

The Weaver is an exceptional upbeat solo artist who incorporates a variety of instruments and live looping into his performance. He can perform traditional and modern folk from the likes of The Dubliners, The Pogues and Damien Rice, as well as pop and indie with artists such as The Lumineers and George Ezra, alongside some sea shanties thrown in for good measure!

The Weaver will often perform using a range of instruments including vocals, bass drum, acoustic guitar and cittern. He has won praise from modern day folk heroes and has featured frequently on the BBC performing original songs.

As a soloist, he is ready to perform for any event, be it wedding, engagement party, birthday bash, anniversary, garden party or corporate function. The Weaver's set is ideal for rustic-themed countryside weddings where a summer festival vibe is a must.

He has performed at some of the best-known venues across the South West including Smedmore House, The Cross Barn, Trevenna, Polhawn Fort, Holbrooke Hall. He is also available to play further afield if requested and has performed as far north as Nunsmere Hall in Cheshire.
