We are proud to present Almost Modern Jukebox: our 1920's style function band performing modern songs in a toe-tapping Charleston style.

Our 1920s style band is popular for Gatsby themed parties, corporate events, and weddings who want something a little more niche than your standard party band.

AMJ's live band consists of the highest calibre of musicians, and incredibly talented vocalists, with a variety of band line ups available. You can hire our 5 piece band with one vocalist, up to an 11 piece band with a full horn section, 3 vocalists and a tap dancer! No matter the band line up and event, AMJ perform with the highest level of energy and keep their audience on the dance floor all night long, with chart topping tunes that sound like they came from the Roaring Twenties! For more intimate occasions, we also offer a duo line up too!

Almost Modern Jukebox look the part too; the fellas don their suits, bow ties and hats and the ladies dress to impress with custom made sequin and feather dresses, hair pieces and sparkles for days!

If you have not yet booked a DJ for your event, you can hire our DJ service to play before, in between and after the band sets to ensure your party continues into the night! You can talk to us about adding our Saxophonist to play along with the DJ too and even discuss our Gatsby Show girls who perform with us on occasion!
