Mark Stevens is a solo acoustic musician. Perfect for weddings, parties, bars and corporate functions.

Mark as played over 1000 gigs and has over 20 years of experience playing many places around the world. Learning new songs all the time and refining his act, he is able to play relaxed quieter venues such as house parties, corporate meet and greets as well as lively parties where the crowd want a dance and a boogie. Mark has a 250 song set list. When booking you can request around 30 songs for him to play at your function thus tailoring your booking to meet your needs.

What are your basic technical requirements?

Area of at least 4 square metres with 1 power point.


Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes , I supply PA and sufficient lighting appropriate for the venue and booking.


What information do you require about a venue?

The postcode and venue name - any difficult load in directions would be a bonus.


Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I only provide background music via Spotify/ iPod if no Wi-Fi access - client can play their playlist through my PA free of charge - but not a DJ set up.

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

I have performed at the world famous Cavern in Liverpool - where I had the privilege of playing with Clem Burke (Drummer with Blondie)


Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I am influenced by many bands including The Beatles, The Police, Kaiser Chiefs , Smiths , Paul Weller and many other great classic bands. Favourite song may be ‘Yesterday’ by the Beatles.


What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started performing at open mic nights and progressed to band gig, duos, trios, depping with other bands and now performing solo and acoustic. I have been performing for 30 years this year 2024.


What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I like all types of hog and I take my performances very seriously - I am professional and want my client and their guests to enjoy the performance and to be satisfied with my act.

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I can set up my equipment within 15-20 minutes depending on distance from my car. Once set up the client can instruct me to play whenever they want to fit around their needs and requirements


Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes happy to play outside- weather dependent.


Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I can supply via email a 100 song set list for the client to pick & choose their favourite songs for their booking. I can also learn 2 songs if required, free of charge.


How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients always comment of my widespread set list and knowledge of songs. I can play 50’s Rock and roll then play Harry Styles- I can play Sex Pistols then play Ed Sheeran. This is useful when confronted by a room of guests all of different ages , backgrounds and tastes.


Can you play chilled out quiet sets ?

Yes I can play very quiet and background acoustic sets / up tempo sets according to the clients expectations.
