What is traditional in the way of Christian Wedding Music?

Christian Wedding Music reflects a long established and deep rooted tradition of music and religion and as with most ceremonies hymns traditionally form part of a Christian church wedding ceremony. Couples often choose hymns that give thanks to God for his love or ask for his blessing on their love and relationship. A list of popular hymns is below. An organist often performs these, but a variation might be a piano player, guitarist or harpist. A choir might be a nice choice if you wish to do proper justice to the hymns and  an appropriate group would normally be available on request from your church. This might be a particularly good idea if you and your guests are not big singers!
