Meet the band
EMMA
Em is our Lead Vocalist, she brings sass, creativity and laughter to The Zillas, not to mention a soulful and powerful vocal. (her range is just crazy)
She’s extremely loyal, a little scatty at times and a true team player. She loves mash ups and finding new ways to do things which keeps us all on our toes.
Singing for nearly 20 years her stage presence and vocals will get you all on your feet!
ROB
Our Captain of Funk…. Rob’s cool bass sounds help drive the energy in The Zillas. With 27 years experience Rob is our unofficial “Musical Director”, pulling the band together, suggesting arrangements and focusing on the all-important details. He helps keep things fresh and exciting.
Another funny guy, with a huge passion for music, Rob is a true team player and we can’t wait for you to hear his booming bass at a gig real soon.
Brandon
Proficient, Prolific, Professional.
The core values and given qualities that can be expected within the works executed by Brandon Hoadley.
Our most recent additional to the band, Brandon continues to help us raise our A-Game and delivers some quality solos during an evening show.
PAUL
Our very own Wizard creates pure magic on the keys. His funky, jazzy style is music to our ears. Without giving away his age he has been playing since he was 5 years old and that shows. He really helps to bond the band and really likes to perfect those key licks.
Paul is everyone’s best friend, with his chilled out vibe and smiley face it’s an honour to be playing by his side.
And did I mention his full name is Paul Weller (Yes Paul Weller….)
CHRIS
Our very own Zenn Buddha, Chris keeps us sane and is our natural Leader. He’s been banging for 45 years (drums) and plays a pivotal role to play in the band as our rhythm master!
Chris brings laughter, fun, order and balance to The Zillas. His energy is infectious and his vocals aren’t bad either.
DAVE
Saxy Dave wows us all with his cool sax sounds, he has over 30 years experience and some amazing stories to tell. Dave is witty, funny and a true perfectionist.
We have it on good authority that Saxy Dave used to break dance so who knows you may see our very own break dancing sax player at a gig soon.
VIC
Vic is the bands trumpet player, he joins The Zillas with plenty of experience performing with bands, across a range of genres over many years.
Vic has a very positive vibe he is a huge team player and brings amazing energy to the band.
