Steven Buckley is one of the UK's finest Wedding and Events Guitarists with over 20 years of professional experience.

He is a well seasoned and adaptable performer, leaving you in safe hands when coming to plan your big day! He has an extensive repertoire from Pachelbel’s Canon in D to Ed Sheeran, and can perform on a Traditional Acoustic Guitar or an Electric Guitar with amplification and professional backing tracks if required. Based near Manchester and available for hire across the UK for Weddings, Corporate Events, Proposals, Private Functions, Dinners, Private Parties, Funerals and more.

WEDDINGS

Steven has had many years of experience in both the planning of and performing at weddings, church ceremonies, civil ceremonies, civil partnerships and numerous other types of events.

With an enormous repertoire of music in a number of different styles he will work with you to find the most suitable entertainment for your special day.

Steven can play with or without high quality amplification and professional backing tracks and if there is a particular piece that isn’t on the repertoire list, he will be happy to have this arranged for you at no extra cost.

To help simplify services, your wedding day is split into three sections. You choose and pay for the sections you would like Steven to perform, such as:

Guitar Lessons

I teach students of all ages and ability levels.  I teach ‘absolute beginners’ who may never have picked up a guitar, students at ‘novice level’ of all ages who used to play, regret giving it up and are returning to the guitar.  I also coach and mentor ‘accomplished musicians’ who feel they would benefit from a professional working musician to improve their technical ability or performance technique.  The first session is free and is designed to find a starting point from which we can develop. Whatever your preferred style of music, from Pop to Classical, Blues, Rock and Jazz, I can teach them all! There are so many things that your lessons can involve, from learning new pieces of music, to technical exercises, scales and arpeggios, famous guitar riffs, improvisation and playing beautiful duets.

Whatever you want to play, I can teach it to you on Acoustic, Electric or Bass Guitar.

Many of my students just want to play the guitar for the pure joy or challenge it brings to their life.  Others are taking GCSE in music or want to achieve exam gradings from a registered teacher of The Associate Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM).

I build good relationships with all my students and have wide experience (over 2 decades worth!) in making every session enjoyable.  I adapt my teaching methods to each student, being sensitive to their needs. I understand how to get the very best out of each of my students.  Every parent and teacher has noticed marked and continuous improvement in cognitive ability and personality.
