We are just finishing spring cleaning our entertainment directory! Our aim is to improve our customers experience by making our search results more relevant. For example, when a customer searches for a trumpet player, we want them to see a list of trumpet players rather than a mixture of ensembles, other musicians who may also play trumpet and other irrelevant listings.
We have also added over 90,000 local pages to our site and as part of these changes some listings may been moved or removed from certain categories that we feel are irrelevant. Most listings have been completely unaffected.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the changes we have made.
We are also very happy to announce that we are now recommended supplier at Davys Wine Vaults in Greenwich!

Learn to play day on March 31st 2012 will offer free instrument lessons to the public. This is to be an annual event, created by Music for All, the charity of the UK musical instrument industry.
Music shops all accross the UK will offer free "taster" lessons to the general public for free! A wide range of instruments will be available to cater to different tastes. Full details of the Learn To Play Day event can be found at www.learntoplayday.com.

We have seen a huge increase in enquiries for St Patrick's Night - it seems there are only so many Irish Music Bands to go round! If you have left it a little late to organise your St Patrick's Day entertainment then please get in touch - we'll do everything we can to help, but the majority of our Irish Music Acts are now booked for the popular celebration.

November 2011We are proud to announce that we will be providing the entertainment for the England friendly football match against Sweden on the 15th of this month. It is a massive honor for us to be chosen to provide the entertainment for a such a prestigious event! Come on England! We are the recommended supplier at Wembley so if you have been there recently, chance are, you`ve heard one of bands playing.
Elizabeth McNulty will be performing as part of our continued support of Great Ormand Street Hospital on 10th November. This will be followed by Camilla Pay who will performing on the 24th November.
We are also supplying live musicians to Los Aguanas (near Royal Festival Hall) every Monday evening alongside our other residencies at Mostyn and the South Lodge Hotel.
Sponsoring Macmillan Cancer Research EventWe are sponsoring an event with Exclusive Hotels to celebrate 30 years of fund-raising. This event will be focused on the MacMillan Cancer Research charity. Its such a great cause and we are sure that it will be a great night. The event will be hold on 2nd December at the South Lodge Hotel. You can view more details about the event here. Our band, Good Company, will be providing some wonderful entertainment for the evening. Have a look at their profile page and listen to their sounds - Good Company.
We played at the Inc Group`s Christmas promotional event this week. The evening was a great success and we got to try some amazing food and drinks from local suppliers! We would like to thank the Inc Group for inviting us down. We will be performing at some more similar events in the future so check back for dates and info.

A few great new sites have been launched. Wedding Prices is the place to find out exactly how much your wedding will cost you. With breakdowns for the ceremony, reception and party as well as various other section you will find out all the costs with no hassle at all. Wedding Songs Playlist is the place to plan which songs you would like to hear at your wedding. Choose from all sorts of different selections for the entrance, reception, party and dinner. The third new site is Party Bands - the only place to find a band for your party. All of the bands on that site are of coursed managed by Last Minute Musicians - so no worries about quality!
We've just finished our first app available in the UK iTunes Store FREE for iPad & iPhone - "Band Booker"! You can now search through our bands firectly from your mobile phone!

Great venue to have your wedding at if you haven't already chosen!
Men In Blue performed on Friday to 300,000 people in Hyde Park for the Royal Wedding, which has apparently gone down in history as the largest ever UK gig!
We had such a fantastic day.... to be honest, just being able to be there in Hyde Park to watch the wedding was enough... the vibe amongst the crowd was just immense! Being the only band to perform as the 'Wedding band' after the first kiss was just incredible!
MIB apparently been featured in the press all over the world, including USA and Australia.... crazy stuff.
Yesterday we exhibited at a wedding fair at Nonsuch Mansion. As recommended supplier at Nonsuch Mansion we look forward to working closely with this fantastic venue!
New Blog - Wedding Music Ideas - All about different ideas for wedding music. Featuring suggestions for songs to play at both the ceremony and reception. We are going to be adding a lots of content to this over the next few months. If you haven't already, then you could also check out our How to Get Gigs blog, which features all sorts of hints and tips on how to get more gigs for your band.
