Having a sound described as ‘eloquent and celestial, but edgy’, Vicki Ann is on a mission to surround you with music that comes from the soul. She uses her unique sound on the saxophone to create atmospheres and illustrate stories.
She made her debut on Baritone saxophone alongside top class musicians of the Glenn Miller UK orchestra in 2014, at the Beck Theatre, Hayes, which enjoyed a large following of public and press. She has also played numerous festivals, functions and been involved in projects.
Vicki Ann is an in-demand british multi-instrumentalist and educator. Currently studying Music Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Vicki is hoping to go on to have a full time career in performing, teaching and session work.
Born in 1999, Vicki grew up in Windsor, Berkshire where she first started learning classical piano and clarinet at the age of 10. When she turned 12, she picked up an alto saxophone, and instantly fell in love with it.
Although she listened to many genres of music growing up, Vicki is a dedicated jazz enthusiast and has been since she first played a sax.
Even though she is still studying, Vicki is a well-respected teacher, with a passion for spreading her enthusiasm and love of music to children, adults and anyone who wants to learn.
Vicki has a solid list of credentials building up and is always looking for new opportunities. She says “all the musical experiences I’ve had so far, the people I’ve met, I’ve learned valuable lessons and it is a priceless education”.
