Trio Instrumental: piano keyboard, flute and Latin percussion - a real Cuban sound - for those events where a mix of both relaxed and upbeat music is required. The musicians’ musical virtuosity enhancing the occasion with their vibrant and sophisticated sound.
Trio, fronted by a superb female vocalist and backed by a strong percussive rhythm section - piano keyboard and Latin percussion - Ria plays the classic Latin repertoire with a variety of styles which include; Salsa, Bossa Nova, Bolero, Cha Cha Cha and Latin pop.

Duo line-up: keyboard and Latin percussion - ideal for those events with an intimate feel and where a background Latin sound is desired.
For a larger sound, the trio can be joined by additional musicians who are all part of the Ria team, e.g. additional vocals, saxophone or bass guitar.

Sound - Yes, we do provide our own PA system (amplification).
Lighting – No, the group does not carry lighting as standard but a general colour wash can be provided at minimal cost.

Yes, we can play recorded music (mp3) between the band sets. This music will be in a similar style to the band's own performance material.
An average size would be 3 metres (width) x 2. m (depth), depending on the number of musicians playing.
Yes. As a minimum, we require a power socket (preferably double)- standard 3 pin.
Not as standard. Although this is possible, it's really only viable in very small areas where the instruments can be heard up-close, and so the majority of our performances use some aspect of amplification. However, if you're after an intimate sound, then do contact us to discuss your request.
As a professional outfit, the band is covered by Public Liability Insurance and Musician Union contracts are issued for each booking.
The good news is that Ria have a roster of musicians who can cover their colleagues in-case of illness.
Setup time approx 1.5 hrs.
Performance times: up to 2 x 50 minute sets.
Yes, we do perform outside but only if overhead cover is provided, i.e. gazeebo/marquee.
Power Sockets will be required in the performance area.
We have a set repertoire but are happy to add up to two new song requests where possible. If these are likely to involve us having to have an extra rehearsal, then we may have to charge an additional amount to cover out costs.
Our standard playing times are 2 x 50 minute sets.
Yes. With prior discussion (pre contract), we're happy to add another set - or more - as required.
Yes. We're happy to divide the standard amount of playing time into shorter sets, i.e. 3 x 35 minutes
