About / Biography

Tom has played pipes since the age of 11, learning from no less than 7 Gold Medallists.

Although he was Pipe-Major of the Grade 2 Rolls-Royce Pipe Band, Tom has played mainly with Grade 1 Pipe Bands including the legendary Muirhead & Sons; British Caledonian Airways and Scottish Power Pipe-Bands.

Tom has now performed in around 40 different countries and also teaches and adjudicates at solo-piping contests.

He has a wealth of experience playing at all kinds of events and can play a huge selection of music.

* Can also perform the "Address to a Haggis" and can provide Highland Dancer[s] on request. *
