Authentic live piano music for your special day. How about the wedding march or a beautiful bespoke piano arrangement of your favourite song for the walk down the aisle, signing or exit during your wedding ceremony? Maybe some Chopin, Greatest Showman, or Disney music during the drinks & canapé reception. Perhaps some Ed Sheeran, ABBA or Sinatra for your wedding breakfast.  Or if that’s not your cup of tea, how about some Foo Fighters, Metallica, Queen or some Dr Dre and Louis Capaldi?

Whatever your taste, from classical piano wedding music to modern piano wedding songs, I can come to your venue with one or two of my unique beautiful mobile pianos or play on the piano belonging to the venue if available. I am fully equipped for both indoor and outdoor weddings in all types of locations with no need for a power supply.

The ideal live music accompaniment for your wedding ceremony, drinks reception or wedding breakfast.

Marvellous Mobile Pianos

I designed and built my upright piano facades to house my Yamaha digital stage pianos so they not only sound beautiful but look beautiful too, truly unique. I always bring a wide range of coloured sashes and artificial flowers to decorate the piano to match the wedding decor. I have three mobile pianos that I use for weddings as pictured below:

Mobile Piano No 1 ‘Snow White'

Taking up a floor space of just 1.5m wide by 1m depth, including me! Perfect for ceremonies, drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts, whether indoors or outdoors!

(Chicheley Hall; Kelsi & Dom’s ceremony)

Mobile Piano No 2 ‘Romantico'

This is Snow White’s identical twin! One piano can be moved short distances for different stages of the wedding but two are needed at some venues. I also have a small white gazebo and flooring for outdoor bookings.

Mobile Piano No 3 ‘Dutchgrand’ (Black)

I modified my Dutchgrand to make it completely self-contained and wireless like my upright pianos. This elegant piano has a floor space (Including me) of 1.5m x 1.5m. It works great in more spacious settings.

All of our guests were amazed at how he could keep going for so long, and so professionally too, a lot of guests thought it was a recording playing and not live music as it was so perfect.

We couldn’t recommend Nigel enough to anyone considering a lovely pianist at your wedding. Not only is Nigel a very talented pianist he is also a lovely gentleman who pre and during the wedding went above and beyond to help where he could and make everything such an easy booking process.

As well as playing our selected songs so beautifully, we love how you read the room and played accordingly - for example when we came running back toward the venue dodging the rain having had some sunset photos taken, you played “Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head” - brilliant!

  • Absolutely yes, I provide my clients with my 570+ repertoire of well-known and loved songs and tunes. I help them along the way so they can request songs from my repertoire. If you require songs not already in my repertoire, I can create a bespoke arrangement, especially for your wedding. One of these requests is included in the pricing package.

FAQs

  • Yes, as soon as you know when the wedding is, you can secure the date by approving the quote I send you and paying a £75 deposit. The remaining balance is not due until 30 days before the wedding date.

  • My diary tends to be about 2/3rds full or more for 12 months ahead and about 1/3 full for 24 months so it’s best to book as soon as you can to ensure availability.

  • I live in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and regularly travel to neighbouring counties such as Hertforshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Bedfordshire. However, I sometimes take on bookings a lot further afield. So it’s always worth asking me.

  • Yes absolutely. I have a completely battery-powered and wireless setup so I can position anywhere. I also have a smart white gazebo and stage flooring for situations where I need to protect my equipment from rain or intense sun.

  • Yes, I can move my piano from room to room if it is on a level surface. If not on a level surface or longer travel distances are needed I may need to set up a second piano.

  • I would be very happy to play the venue’s piano. If it is an acoustic piano it will need to be in full working order and in tune. I also have a special set of microphones and speakers for amplifying acoustic pianos which can be necessary for noisy environments where there are about 100 guests. This also applies in churches where I accompany hymns on the piano.

  • I try my best! I have a fully electric van which is usually charged at home at night. I source my electricity from Octopus which is generated by 100% renewable sources. I made my upright piano facades with FSC Certified wood to avoid deforestation, and all batteries used for my amplifiers, pianos and fairy lights are rechargeable to avoid battery waste. I also try to limit the amount of meat and dairy in my diet so opt for vegetarian food at venues when there is a choice. The artificial flowers to decorate my pianos are not ideal because they are plastic but I take could care of them to make sure I can reuse them 100s of times to minimise plastic waste.
