I have been playing soprano and tenor saxophone for over 30 years. During this time, I gained a wealth of experience playing live: in a six piece covers band; accompanying DJs; touring Europe in an 80s-style pop band, whilst also carrying out studio work as a session musician. As a solo DJ saxophonist, I write riffs and solos to accompany personally selected tracks from ambient jazz, soulful and alternative/indie genres.

What to expect

I am a very emotive musician and play very much from the heart. This enables me to really feel the tracks and bring them to life. The high-spec production of the original tracks, overlaid with my accompaniment, results in the perfect blend of high-quality, moving melodies with familiar undertones.

There are recordings of a selection of tracks, with my enhancement, on this website, so you can listen to examples of my work. Set lists have been hand-picked and tailored to a variety of moods. All you need to do is let me know the mood you require for your function; I will do the rest.

Equipment

I have a high quality 800W PA system, suitable for small intimate gigs and venues up to 200 capacity. All I need is a power source and I am good to go. Alternatively, if your venue has a PA system, I will be happy to use this after a brief sound check.
