About / Biography

  • "Fantastic as always" Sefton Council - British Musical Fireworks Championships Awards Dinner 2022. "You were fabulous" - BMFC Awards Dinner 2022

"I will leave Susannah to explain more but after your performance on Sunday night I was shouting your praises and Susannah is looking for entertainment for one of her bars the cosy Churchtown location". September 2021

Has supported Courtney Pine CBE, Geno Washington, Acoustic Alchemy, Snake Davis and The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. I can play solo or in duo, trio, quartet, quintet. Jazz, Soul, Funk, Smooth, Easy Listening, Reggae. Has been a featured artist for Jazz FM and been played on BBC Radio Merseyside plus a host of Online Radio Stations with live in studio Singer songwriter sessions. Previous or current clients include John Lewis Store, York and restaurant chains.

If you want chilled jazz, soul, smooth, easy listening or upbeat funky soul (especially 1970's) and hints of reggae, then look no further. I have it covered. Recordings include an album of 16 songs written by Vernon Fuller available on CD and across various digital platforms including: Spotify, Deezer, emusic, iTunes, Amazon MP3 and Google Play. Songs styles are Soul, Jazz, Latin, Reggae and Funk. Titled "What Will You Do?", the songs have male and female vocals, trumpet, bass, drums, percussion, guitars and on one song a brass horn section.

Review: “With this album Vernon displays his guitar prowess and versatility through many musical styles. Being fresh and uplifting as always Vernon and his band are talented, vibrant performers with masses of drive and feel, something that I feel is vitally important in songwriting and the production of music. The title track ‘What Will You Do’? stands out with its flowing Latin inspired beats, and hugely danceable rhythm. The Benson feel of ‘For You’ effortlessly blends into the lush reggae of ‘See that Girl’. ‘Last Kiss’ is evocative of Leon Russell’s songwriting at its finest, and ‘Love Isn’t Love’ instantly draws you into a New York club atmosphere; the whole sound of this particular track is warm, immediate, and expansive with a whole-band feel. The whole album, in fact, has a wonderfully tactile quality that is timeless and engaging." - Paula McCool - Owner Ghostnote Record Label.

"Listening to the excellent What Will You Do CD by Vernon Fuller very nice Samba and Funk mix for the World Cup Brazil vibe" "Thank you Vernon for making such a fine work of art"
