My prices include travel up to 25 miles from RG25. Travel thereafter is charged at 45p per mile. Please drop me a message if you are looking to book me with travel being over 150 miles. About / Biography

My name is Rachel and I’m a singer based in the Hampshire area. I’m originally from Liverpool but currently sing at festivals, weddings and private events around the UK and Europe for 90’s dance band N-Trance as well as doing a lot of my own private gigs and weddings. I was the lead vocalist for the LMA Choir on the final season of the X factor where we made it through to the live finals.

I am actually in the process of getting a professional studio showreel put together - something which I haven’t really needed to date but hopefully the videos on my paged will show you a little of what I can do. I had my first baby last year so I decided to put the showreel on hold!

I feel that my experience singing in front of huge crowds as well as my stage presence and friendly down to earth scouse approach will definitely get people talking (hopefully in the right ways). I predominantly cover upbeat music from the 70’s to today but also offer acoustic sets - but I like to think I can be flexible and adapt to suit all crowds and ages. One thing I must flag though is that I won’t be able to perform as N Trance due to contractual obligations.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I'll just need access to 1x 13amp household plug socket and a parking spot :)

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

I use a state of the art Bose Line Array sound system that is suitable for indoor gigs up to 150 people. I can also plug into venue sound systems with my mixing desk. If required I can arrange larger sound systems for bigger events but i've never had an issue so far.

Everything is PAT tested and certified

What information do you require about a venue?

Load-in and access to the venue. It's worth also checking that there aren't any restrictions on amplified music.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course, I'd be more than happy to play a Spotify playlist (of your choice) for you but I must admit I'm certainly not a qualified DJ :)

All of the 80's icons!!

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I attended LMA University in Liverpool but started gigging around the pubs/bars/clubs in town from the age of 16.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I really do just love to sing and perform anywhere. Cliche I know!

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

1 or 2x 40-45 minute sets.
Set up 30 minutes

My performances are pretty high energy so i tend to aim for 1 or 2 x 40-45 minute sets. I'm happy to tweak this a little to suit but these set times suit me and the audience best. I need a little bit of time to recover between sets but I promise I'm not a diva :)

Are you happy to perform outside?

Of course, i'll just require a flat level surface and a power supply. If it's raining I'll of course need to be undercover (well more the equipment, not me).

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Of course. I can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 1 or 2 songs. The clients are welcome to suggest some songs from my repertoire or let us choose the music for them.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

High energy with great crowd interaction and stage presence. I really do feel as though i can get everyone onto the dance floor!
