Astri Strings are a professional violin and cello duo based in the South of England. They provide exquisite music for a wide variety of events including weddings, parties and corporate entertainment. They have an extensive repertoire list from Baroque and Classical through to Film themes, Jazz, Pop Music and ‘Bridgerton-style’ inspired arrangements. We can make a bespoke arrangement of your favourite song if it is not on our repertoire list. We studied at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama respectively and have both enjoyed rich and varied performance careers playing with many professional orchestras and ensembles, as well as theatre and session work. Highlights have been playing for royalty at Frogmore House and George and Amal Clooney’s Wedding celebration.

We have performed at Frogmore House, the Royal residence in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
We love the 2 Cellos and Maxim Vengerov
We previously played with Akina String Quartet and enjoyed playing at many amazing venues across the South.
Weddings are our favourites! Performing as bride makes her entrance is a truly special moment!
We arrive 40 minutes before the performance to set up.
We normally perform 2x 50 minute sets (or 3 ).
We are happy to play outside if the weather is clement but would require shade to protect our valuable instruments.
Clients may choose anything from our repertoire lists and we can make a bespoke arrangement of a special song if required.
