Perfoming and recording in sessions since 2003 across Europe with a variety of different acts (Big Bands; Tribute, Jazz, Rock & Wedding bands, hip-hop acts, DJs) I now play predominantly in North-West England and enjoy jamming to House, Dance and Ibiza tunes.
Being experienced in many various styles from Jazz to Drum and Bass, means that most tunes can be played in your bespoke set and if in doubt please ask as I will want everything to be perfect for your event. This will involve an initial consultation where we can work out exactly what you want for the event, whether you would like to get everyone dancing or to set a chilled background vibe.
Perfect for birthdays, Wedding, restaurants and corporate events; Rusty Keys provides classy background & instrumental music creating a fun and enjoyable event; playing music from artists such as Bill Withers, Frank Sinatra, Bruno Mars, Spiller to name a few.

Absolutely, I am happy to play music just before and in-between sets. If you would like your own playlist (from your own phone/device then please let me know so duplication of tunes can be reduced)
The best gig I performed at was down in Wilmslow at the Symposium which was owned by Hollyoaks star Ashley Taylor Dawson. This gig was amazing and not only did I perform with a mixture of DJs and performers such as Callan Kinsella, Clear Six, Rozalla and the Urban Cookie Collective; but accompany this were incredible performances from dancers, fire-eaters and life-sized teddy bears! It was an unforgettable experience!
As a sax player, I was most influenced by the masters of Sonny Rollins, Grover Washington Jr and Maceo Parker. Learning from these incredible musicians, makes me know how and when to play on a track to ensure the sax fits seamlessly on a huge variety of styles; from Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston to Ibiza and House classics.
I started playing Saxophone when I was 7 and when I was 10, started performing Jazz, Swing and Funk across England Spain and the Netherlands. Since then, I have performed at hundreds of events, recording sessions, clubs and functions playing a variety of tunes for clients and am on released albums and singles which can be found on Spotify.
I enjoy playing at all sorts of events but birthdays are my favourite! I find that the guests are happy, enjoy the music and people get up dancing. It is always nice to perform when you can see people enjoying themselves!
I am happy with either cash or transfer - this can be paid either on the night or even before your event so please let me know which is easiest.
For most bookings no - however for Weddings, Birthdays and major events a Deposit of £50 is required in addition to the main fee due to the amount of preparation required before your event.

I am happy to play outside but ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
Absolutely! I have a couple of example set lists which I can pass over or if you would like me to build a bespoke set for you then please let know what tunes or style you would like and a set can be created for you. The set will then be sent across to you for confirmation.
All of my previous customers have described me as a really professional and a great communicator, meaning that they don't have to worry about the organisation of the music beforehand. I have been told by customers that I bring a great atmosphere to the event, whether that is a laid back chilled Jazz vibe or a mixed genre high energy set that gets everyone dancing.
