Yes, I'm completely self contained. I bring my own PA system to all gigs as well as a simple lighting rig and disco ball.

I performed with a big band at Ronnie Scott's in London and it was such a special night! There was a fantastic atmosphere and energy in the room, and it felt as if the audience came on a journey with us. It is a memory I'm sure the band and audience will treasure for a long time.

When it comes to classic jazz, I have been listening to Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong since I was young, and they have greatly inspired many of my performances throughout the my career. As my style has developed I have also been influenced by Raye, Olivia Dean and Ezra Collective. My favourite artist has to be Amy Winehouse, and I think that 'Back to Black' Is one of the most iconic albums and songs ever released.

I studied classical music for 10 years, and was then trained in Jazz at 'Leeds Conservatoire'. I have since gone on to have played with some of the UK's most successful Jazz musicians, such as 'Yolanda Brown', 'Nubya Garcia' and 'Ellie Sax', as well as playing and working with the 'National Youth Jazz Orchestra'.

I have a wealth of experience gathered from spending years touring and performing at some of the UK's most iconic venues such as, 'Ronnie Scotts', 'Glastonbury Festival', 'the 100 Club','The 02 Institute in Birmingham', 'Vortex Jazz Club' and 'The Piece Hall' in Halifax. I have headlined at multiple racecourses and festivals with 'Ministry of Sound', and supported various well known groups such as 'Scouting for Girls' and 'The Sugababes'. Alongside this I have performed at countless weddings and events, and my sets are always very well received, wether I am playing background music or working the dancefloor.

Having performed at many different types of events I have to say that my favourites are weddings and anniversary parties. It's so lovely to watch families and friends coming together and celebrating love, and it's such a honour to be a part of people's memories on their special days.

I usually arrive two hours before I am due to start playing, however I am happy to arrive earlier if this will make clients feel more comfortable.
I generally perform 2 x 45 minute sets or 2 x 60 minute sets, but can add a third set, or make sets longer if required.

I love to perform outside, as long as there is a way of protecting the equipment if it rains, and as long as there is an easily accessible power supply.

I am happy to learn any specific songs the client would like, and they are welcome to choose their set lists from my repertoire playlists.
