We require a suitable sized performance space that can accommodate our PA system (including subwoofers) and up to three band members (depending which band option is booked).
We require at least 2x13 amp power sockets, but preferably 4 or more.
If we're to perform outside, we require ample cover or shade for potential rain or hot weather.
We require 3 vehicles parking spaces for the band members' vehicles.
The Good Citizens provide all their own sound & lighting equipment, PAT tested & Public Liability Insured.
We can offer a DJ service add on. This will typically cover ~4 hours for the evening wedding reception. DJ music would be played before our first set (if required), during our break and after our second set to see out the rest of the night (usually no later than 12am finish).
We've been performing as a band since 2013 and have done hundreds of weddings, events and functions, mainly in the UK and Yorkshire area.
We have a great time at all of our gigs but particularly weddings! We love the feel-good vibe, the beautiful venues, the food and everyone dressed up!
Arrival: around 90 minutes beforehand for set up.
Soundcheck: Between 5-15 minutes.
Performance: 2x sets lasting 45-50 minutes each.
We're happy to perform outside, and have done for many previous events.
We'd require ample cover or shade for potential rain or hot weather, an outdoor power supply close-by and a flat, level surface if drums & equipment is to be set up there.
We can offer to add on a special request song (e.g. first dance or father-daughter dance) free of charge.
We have a setlist that we've refined over the years to work well for a variety of guests at weddings & events however clients are welcome to choose to switch any songs out for those on our extras list.
Previous customers often describe us as "bringing incredible energy" throughout the evening, a band with a "unique sound", the "genius use of the megaphone" and being "blown away" by our setlists/performances.
