Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 2 parking spaces.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own high quality, professional PA system, with trained sound engineer, as well as a stage lighting rig.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

We performed at many amazing weddings and parties, but also corporate events for NHS staff and the Army corps. It was amazing to entertain these hard working public servants and we almost felt like part of their teams!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We are heavily influenced by Britpop artists like Oasis, Blur and Pulp but we also love classic pop and rock tracks by the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Killers and Blink 182 - our sets are cool but also peppered with classic floor fillers.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We started gigging in pubs and clubs and our performances developed from there, with people who saw us inviting us to play at parties and weddings. Since we started we’ve performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events across the UK and beyond

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings, parties and corporate events are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best. Our trained sound engineer ensures we set up quickly and sound amazing!

Are you happy to perform outside?

We’re always happy to play outside. Ideally we need a covered area. We have played outdoors with power before, but also completely acoustically with no power.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them. Over the years we have become very good at 'reading the room' to pick songs that will keep the dancefloor full.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers would describe us as a high energy group that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing and singing along. Clients often tell us that their guests love our band and talk about us for years after their wedding or party - we receive many booking from audience members who have seen us at events.

Do you learn songs that are specially requested?

Yes, we are happy to learn first dance songs or special requests. We ask for a small add-on fee to cover the practice time to get the song(s) sounding great for you!
