We want everyone who uses our site to be safe. This page explains how we keep our site safe, how to report something, and what happens next.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 first.
For adults only
Our site is for people aged 18 or over.
A performer under 18 may be listed only by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over, who registers and manages the account and emails us at admin@lastminutemusicians.com to confirm this.
How we keep our site safe
- A person on our team checks every new listing. Listings are also checked automatically for contact details and web links in places they are not allowed.
- Every enquiry sent to members through our site is checked by an artificial intelligence (AI) service, which looks for scams and spam. A message it judges to be a scam or spam is not delivered.
- Reviews are checked automatically for signs of abuse. A person looks at any review that is caught.
- Every form on our site is checked against lists of addresses and devices known for spam or abuse, and by a security check.
You must not use our site for anything illegal. That includes scams and fraud, threats, harassment, hate, sexual images of anyone without their consent, and any sexual content involving children. We remove illegal content as soon as we know about it. We may suspend or close the account of anyone who posts it, and report it to the police.
Clause 18 of our terms explains these checks in full.
How to report something
Anyone can report something, whether or not they have an account. Use the Report link next to it:
- On a listing: Report this listing, under the reviews.
- On a review: Report this review, under the review.
- On a blog comment: Report, under the comment.
- On an open enquiry, or in an enquiry email we sent you: Report this enquiry.
For anything else, use our report form:
Report something
You can also email admin@lastminutemusicians.com. Say where it is and why you are reporting it.
What happens next
- We email you straight away to confirm we have your report.
- A person on our team reads every report.
- We acknowledge every report within 2 working days.
- We aim to deal with illegal content within 5 working days.
- We deal with threats of violence, and anything involving a child, the same working day.
- We may remove content, or suspend or close an account. Where the law needs it, we tell the police.
- We may not be able to tell you everything we did, for example to protect someone's privacy.
Complaints and appeals
You can complain to us if you think content on our site is illegal and we have not dealt with it; if we have removed or held your content, or stopped a message you sent; or if we have suspended, restricted or closed your account.
- Email admin@lastminutemusicians.com, or reply to any email we sent you about a report. Say what happened and why you disagree.
- A person, not an automated system, looks at it again. Where we can, it is someone who did not make the first decision.
- We acknowledge it within 2 working days and give you our decision within 14 days.
- If we agree we got it wrong, we put things back.
Clause 10 of our terms sets out how complaints work.
