"Jan was the upmost professional from start to finish. His initial reply to my enquiry was speedy, polite and informative. His communication is second to none and no question is unanswered. Jan let me choose every single song that he played on the night and I had no reservations or concerns that it wouldn't run smoothly. On the actually evening, Jan was truly amazing. He is a very talented sax player and everyone was very impressed with his renditions of such a variety of hits. From ibiza classics to even a bit of Madness and Spandau Ballet. Nothing ever seemed too much for Jan. I would 100% recommend Jan to anyone! Thank you Jan for making a special night one that will not be forgotten. "

" Tracey and I would just like to express our most sincere thanks and appreciation for your performances at our wedding at the Lowry Hotel Manchester 11/7/15. You were absolute quality in both your singing and playing and on top of that a wonderful example of generosity when you carried on playing because events overran by almost 30 minutes yet you kept smiling and playing, and told us not to worry. All our guests commented on the amazing performance, the tunes you played for us were just what we wanted and really made our day. "Michael was absolutely brilliant, I can not recommend him highly enough. He got back to me quickly after I made the initial enquiry, kind & efficient. On the day of the party he turned up on time, looking so smart & played wonderful jazzy tunes at our request . He is an accomplished musician and created a really great atmosphere. All our guests commented on the excellent choice of musician & music."

"Nigel played for our wedding reception, during the drinks and canapé reception and the wedding breakfast. Nigel was incredible! More than we could have ever wished for. As soon as we arrived in our wedding car (DB6), Nigel started playing Bond music. He also played loads of great songs (including Disney) which got a lot of our guests singing and dancing. We had our gorgeous little cousin with us and Nigel played Baby Shark just for him, tho lots of guests also enjoyed it and did the dance moves! We've had so many complements about Nigel and his amazing skills. He really did add so much to our special day. We 100% recommend Nigel!"

"Emily really ended our wedding day perfectly performing at our evening party. She discussed our choices beforehand and was very lovely and helpful. We sent Emily our first dance choice and it was fantastic to hear it performed live rather than play the original track. It was perfect. Our guests loved her. Rob and I would highly recommend. "Chris was very professional and pleasant. He really took the time before our wedding to chat through all questions or preferences we had, he even had some suggestions of his own too which were very helpful for us. His music was really great and it helped to add to the atmosphere of the day and fitted in wonderfully with our countryside surroundings. We had a lot of non-Scot’s at our wedding, and so many of them loved the added touch of having a piper there! Chris played beautifully and his music added an extra special something to our day! Thank you Chris!"

"Vicki beautifully set the mood with her sensitive playing. She played beautifully for almost four hours. Timeless classics intermingled seamlessly with more modern popular pieces. She was charming throughout the evening. A pleasure to arrange for her to play. She stood in after I was let down, but so professional. Brilliant playing. Vicki created the perfect ambience for the evening. Many guests commented on her excellent performance and charming manner. I strongly recommend Vicki for any function. "Booking EM Strings was a dream fulfilled as I always wanted a live instrument band playing on my wedding. It was surreal walking in to my favourite song playing from my childhood favourite film that is a classic Bollywood love story. The guest thoroughly enjoyed listening to them during the canapés and it set the tone of the wedding day so perfectly! I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking for their special day. The variety of songs that they play means there’s something for everyone to enjoy."
