"Mambo Jambo played for our Y12 and Y13 students as part of cultural awareness week. They treated us to a fantastic mixture of songs and music from so many different countries. "Absolutely amazing!! We hired Mariachi Las Valentinas for a Mexican Day of the Dead party and were totally blown away by the quality of the music and the talent of the musicians. They really made the party go with a swing, and played a really good mixture of fast songs that had the audience up and dancing, and some slower songs that gave people a chance to catch their breath. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they brought so much joy to our party - more than happy to personally recommend if there's anyone out there in two minds about whether to book them, just contact us via thephoenixgarden.org and we'll give you any extra details you need. Totally brilliant and we just can't thank this wonderful band enough - we had so many comments from local families who attended the event and told us how much they enjoyed the music. It almost felt as though we'd got some old friends to come and perform for us. If you're thinking of music for your party we'd wholeheartedly recommend Mariachi Las Valentinas - just please don't book them for any Day of the Dead events, because well be needing them again!!"

"From start to end this was a very stress free and enjoyable process that had the potential to be the opposite! We were able to move quickly and get things sorted in a matter of days. On the night, Huw was a dream. Everything went smoothly and his performance was incredible. He was prepped with my lyric choices and how to play the song. We loved every minute. Thank you Huw!"

"- very good experience - played background music for our drinks reception and it fit very well with the set up we wanted for the day - arrangements on the day went smoothly with no help needed from my side. Makes a huge difference for the bride and groom when they don’t need to be involved on the day - excellent music playing would recommend to others for their wedding All in all a very positive experience and I’d recommend to others ?"

"Inês and the band were the perfect sound to our reception, and they were even able to play one of my favourite songs by Djavan. They were able to respond really well to the crowd too, I can’t wait to have another reason to hire them! We all had a great time dancing to them and the whole evening went perfectly."

"Edina played two sessions at our private party. Edina was east to communicate with and replied very quickly to any concerns. Edina played the most wonderful selection of music including my father-in-law’s favourite Cavatina. Everyone was very complimentary about Edina and her music."

""I would like to say thanks to Rory for being with us on our wonderful day. With so many other things to worry about on the day it was reassuring to know that my guests where being looked after when they arrived by the sweet jazz music of Rory. I had several comments saying it was a nice surprise to be greeted by Rory when they arrived. Rory and the team was also very accommodating to myself and my wife as we were running a little late on the day and he stayed behind for an extra hour to make sure that we had a nice arrival when we stepped out of the car. "I Keep meaning to ring - which I will - but just wanted to say you guys on sat were absolutely fab - the jazz was lovely - I looked back a few times and it was just magical to see - and the band was amazing - all and sundry said they hadn’t seen such a good band if not ever then def for a long long time - the amount of dancing proves the point too - my playing added to it all as well!!! Not. Please thank everybody"
