"Des provided live solo piano entertainment at our home for my wife's 60th birthday. We had about 45 guests and we are lucky enough to have a large lounge with our own baby grand. Des started playing at about 3.30 in the afternoon and played and entertained our guests for 6 hours on and off with every style of music from classical to jazz. It was absolutely brilliant and we are very grateful to him for helping make the day complete. "

"We couldn’t have been more impressed with Emily and her piano skills for our ceremony and reception drinks. She was absolutely perfect throughout start to finish. I requested for a new song that wasn’t on her music list to be played as my walk down the aisle song and she played it perfectly. She really did set the mood and tone for our wedding from the start. Thank you so much Emily for playing a key part of our special day. We are so so glad we found you to be part of our day making it wonderful. "

"John played at our wedding in December '22 and was absolutely fantastic! We additionally had a supporting cellist and Jon lead the organisation all the way through very professionally. The music throughout the day was beautiful, and guests LOVED being able to make own requests during the breakfast - Jon is so talented to be able to play such a wide variety of music on the spot. We would highly recommend to anyone - thanks again Jon!"

"It's as hard to record a piano successfully as it is to play it - so firstly well done in selecting such an attractive range of music - so many favourites, all beautifully executed. But also bravo to your sound engineer and the Old Grannary people..... it's a true skill placing microphones in just perfect positions and balancing them so well: so as to create that lovely tone of yours that I have been enjoying so. Not too closely recorded (dry) nor too distantly either (wet). Perfect, undistorted tone. You must be very pleased and thankful - as we are, hearing this terrific recording of your piano playing. All captured here most successfully. Congratulations! "

"David made the whole day brighter with his piano play. He plays effortlessly all types of music with such grace and creativity. He can bland in the background while you eat and he can shine bright and entertain the crowd when it is time to sing and dance. Next to him being such a nice person, he makes piano playing look so easy and it is a joy to listen to him."

"We hired Matt to play the ceremony music at our wedding and it was one of the best choices we ever made. Not only is Matt incredibly talented at what he does (nothing is too much trouble for him, he'll play anything you can think of without batting an eye), he's also just the kindest, loveliest guy you could hope to meet. "Where do we begin! From our initial enquiry all the way through to our wedding day, Nigel has been so patient and supportive throughout. We requested a song which wasn’t on his repertoire and he happily learnt the song for us with a fairly short notice! Nothing was too much for him and we are grateful for his patience on all our questions and worries prior to our wedding day. He played so beautifully for our ceremony and drinks reception and our guests loved him! We had so many good feedback from how beautifully he played and particularly enjoyed the current pop songs played on the piano. Thank you so much Nigel for our beautiful music whilst we got married!"

"I would like to recommend Jamie Gray for events large or small. He played piano for a charity fundraising event I was organising outside in a garden attended by 150 people. As requested he played a mixture of classical and contemporary pieces but also hits from the Blitz and some jazz. Jamie was fantastic, super accomplished, and he really made the occasion very special. Jamie went above and beyond what was expected of him and I have no hesitation in recommending him."

Thank you for your lovely comments Joanna. I really enjoyed playing for your wedding, especially your entrance music 'I'm Kissing You' on the organ. I usually play it on the piano - but it really worked for the organ too. I'm really pleased that it was 'perfect' for you, that is my goal for every wedding! Good luck to you both.
