Anyone who booked an act through us or elsewhere, or saw them perform, can leave a review. A review must be about a real booking or performance. An enquiry that did not go ahead is not a review of the act. The same rule applies whatever rating the review gives.
Members can add reviews from their past customers themselves. When they do, they must have the customer’s knowledge, and they confirm that when they add the review. Everyone who leaves a review ticks the same declaration: that it is about a real booking or performance, that it is the customer’s own opinion, and that nobody was paid or given anything in return for it.
Every review goes through the same checks, whatever its rating:
A review that passes these checks appears on the listing straight away, and the member is emailed to tell them. A review the checks catch is held for a person on our team to look at before it appears. Reviews of acts on our own entertainment agency listings are always read by a person before they appear. Each week a person on our team also reads a random selection of the reviews members have added.
If a review is reported to us, or we cannot satisfy ourselves that a review is genuine, we may ask the reviewer to confirm that it relates to a real booking or performance, for example with a copy of the booking confirmation, the email exchange or an invoice. We take the review down while we wait.
If you think a review is not genuine, use the Report this review link under it, or email admin@lastminutemusicians.com saying which review. A person on our team reads every report and will let you know what we decide.
If a review uses your name or your organisation’s name and you would like it taken down, email admin@lastminutemusicians.com saying which review and we will remove it.
Members must only publish genuine reviews. A member found adding fake reviews will be warned, can have reviews turned off on their listing, and can have their membership ended under clause 15 of our terms of service.
