Rory Creates a distinctive sound with his playing, his tone has a certain clarity that defines itself, add a dash of Louis Armstrong, and you might get some idea of his unique musical talents and abilities.

Originally from Cornwall, Rory moved to London at the age of 18 to study at Trinity College of Music. Since then he has played extensively in and around London with a wide range of musicians. His band really does swing and will have you and your guests up and dancing in no time!

About the Rory Simmons Swingers

Formed in 2002, the Rory Simmons Swingers have that classic jazz sound! They play a mixture of jazz standards and renound swing tunes mainly from the '40s - '60s. Originally a quintet, the band now have an option to add a guitarist and/or trombone to the mix to really get things swinging! Recently, they were engaged by the mayor of London to perform at the VE/VJ celebrations in central London.
