My name is Ray Snow - aka - 1 man and 6 strings. I am a live musician and solo singer from Benfleet UK. I perform acoustic and/or backing track entertainment covering the 50's and 60's (Beatles, Rolling Stones, Hollies, Buddy Holly, Small Faces, The Who, Rock 'n' Roll etc...) through to Modern Classics and Anthems to get you up dancing and singing your head off.
I can also provide a relaxing, acoustic session for guests arriving, garden parties and a laid back gentle approach.
I will travel outside of Essex for bookings such as:

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify/Apple Music or Prime Music before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
All I need is 1 x power socket, and place to perform.
I performed as lead vocalist at the Savoy hotel. I have also sung and played at many open air festivals.
I have been influenced by the 60's music such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Hollies and Searchers to name a few. I also like Paul Weller and other acoustic artists. I have a very wide range of genre which I enjoy, like Stevie Ray Vaughan for example, and blues music.
I have sung for many years in the 'Big-Sing' choir where my voice apprenticeship first started around 8 years ago.
We love playing at all sorts of events but birthdays, engagements and weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing."

I'm happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
I can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 4 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them. I would prefer ample warning so that the songs can be rehearsed properly for you.
