Fees are inclusive of our equipment. We bring our own PA (unless there is gear available at the event which the client or their production company prefer us to use) and require a safe and adequate power supply within easy reach of the performance area.

If we are to perform outside, the performance area must have adequate shelter in case of inclement weather and be 100% safe and dry – we cannot risk using our electrical equipment in damp conditions.

We generally expect a meal on every show, that meal must cater to dietary requirements. Happy to discuss.

For gigs further than a 2 hour drive with a finish time of later than 10pm we may require overnight single room accommodation at the clients’ expense. For overnight gigs or gigs further away we may adjust pricing on a case by case basis dependent upon the journey/travel involved.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment, and if there is parking available. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Yes, we’re happy to play background music from Spotify before and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music, if they have a playlist prepared that they can share in advance.

We have been performing in various bands and collectives for over a decade, as well as in original music projects. The acoustic set up remains a favourite way to share and enjoy live music.

We enjoy all sorts of events, but our favourite has to be weddings, especially where we've performed during the ceremony as well as the drinks reception, as we feel so much a part of the couple's special day. There's nothing better than seeing all those happy faces mingling and enjoying the atmosphere of sound acoustic music after the happy couple has tied the knot.

Setup and soundcheck normally takes around 20-30 minutes, as if booked as a duo, we have just one compact PA system and a guitar and mic to plug in. However we usually aim to arrive approx 45minutes to 1 hour before our performance to give us plenty of time/contingency.

Standard performance times:
2x50 minutes sets with a short break between sets (15-20mins). We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

Yes, we're happy to perform outside but we ask for adequate shelter for any inclement weather (our equipment cannot get wet) and if it is expected to be a very hot day we'd require shade. We also need a relatively flat level surface if possible, and a power supply close to the performance area.

We can learn specific songs for special moments such as during your wedding ceremony, or a first dance, and these songs are always client requests of course, although we are happy to recommend ones that work beautifully.

hen we usually pick the rest of our setlist from our tried and tested repertoire. We generally find it more impactful if we are able to read the room and the energy of the day as it is unfolding and adapt our set in real time. Our repertoire is also regularly expanding.

Previous clients usually comment on how special the music was in making their day memorable, and mention how many of their guests commented on the music.

An acoustic set-up can be the perfect solution if space for a full band is limited at your venue, or if the venue has any volume restrictions in place for the performance of live music. Acoustic line-ups are lightweight and offer a more intimate live music option for those incredibly special moments such as your wedding ceremony. Because of the versatility they afford, acoustic line-ups strike the perfect balance for many occasions, allowing your guests to enjoy the ambiance of live music (and even get up and dancing if they want to!) but still talk to each other over the music.
