The London Django Collective, featuring some of the UK's most celebrated
and sought-after musicians, brings the vibrant energy of "Gypsy Jazz" and
the legacy of Django Reinhardt to London.
Django Reinhardt was a gypsy guitarist from Belgium, and left an indelible
mark on the Parisian music scene in the 1930s and '40s with
acoustic string jazz, resonating with the sophistication of the
time.
Esteemed for their expertise in this captivating style of acoustic, string-led
swing and jazz, the Collective is a staple at gypsy jazz festivals around the
globe and tours extensively throughout the UK.
Now available for booking at events in the compact trio formation of violin guitar and double bass, their
performances offer a touch of elegance to high-end gatherings and exclusive venues.
The Trio has already played for events at Buckingham Palace for the late
Queen’s Annual Christmas Celebration, private parties for singer Tom Odell
and at London’s top private members clubs Chiltern Firehouse, Marks
Club,The Arts Club, Louie and Annabelles plus The Dorchester, The Shard,
The Wolseley, Brasserie Zedel and Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club.
