We are a high quality, exciting, acoustic, jazz, blues, pop and funk guitar duo called "Florian & Ezio". We specialise in music inspired by Django Reinhardt and the music that has followed him as well as modern jazz and blues along with our own funky twist. In our performances, we make an effort to mix the energy of our music with great crowd interaction where appropriate or provide great, high quality, classy background music for any situation.
Our music contains a lot of musical puns and references changing from jazz standard to pop or rock hit which keeps audiences entertained and interested in our music, not knowing when we might change song!
Although we play smooth and funky blues/jazz with arrangements including popular songs, we feel that our music allows listeners to still enjoy the music they all love to hear but also allows to listen and relax to the smooth sound of jazz, or even dance to our funky jazz/blues. It is the perfect combo of music allowing all musical tastes to be satisfied in one place! Our set can also be customised to fit in with any situation.
Our great sense of comedy also drives our performances forward, allowing audiences to become one with us and our show. Having a good time and laughing as well as being interested in our intricately arranged music is paramount to us.
We have played at national and international festivals such as, Manchester Jazz Festival and IGGF (International Gypsy Guitar Festival) as well as playing at countless weddings, birthday celebrations, corporate events and hosting our own events at places such as The Subscription Rooms in Stroud.
