Eleanor is a professional freelance harpist regularly playing for weddings and events, as well as teaching both privately and in schools around Berkshire and Oxford. Eleanor is trained in both classical and traditional folk playing, and regularly arranges popular music too. In the past, Eleanor has performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, folk singer Cara Dillon and has supported The Unthanks and Bruce Molski. Eleanor’s performance experience also extends to orchestras and chamber ensembles both in York and around Berkshire, most recently joining the Windsor and Maidenhead Symphony Orchestra, and the London Musical Theatre Orchestra for their ‘play-throughs’. Performance venues include the Royal Albert Hall, York Minster, Donegal Castle, the National Centre for Early Music, Birmingham Symphony Hall, the Bodleian Library, and Spencer House London.
