Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

The absolute minimum for band and all equipment (to ensure great sound) is 3.5m x 2.5m. It also needs to be dry and flat. We would also require at least 2 mains sockets minimum. The band will require a small place/room that’s big enough to get changed into outfits and relax for the Interval playlists. Please arrange for a few jugs of squash or water for the band throughout the evening, and access to evening food if possible.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as simple lighting for the dance floor. We are self mixed and can play with a sound limiter.

What information do you require about a venue?

Directions, if the venue has a sound limiter, power points and where we can load in/if that includes stairs or any limited access.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can offer a playlist in between sets, this is not a manned DJ and does not take requests. If a more bespoke service is required please ask when booking so we can quote accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

We have done some great gigs, one of the favourites would have been when we did a no doubt tribute act at a tribute festival, it was just something really different and a lot of fun.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I would say we all have our individual favourites/inspirations but as a general option a small list would be: Bon Jovi, Guns and Roses, Arctic Monkeys and Queen. We couldn't possibly just choose one song.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

The guitarist and singer have been playing together for 12 years, they started off acoustic and still offer this today. They met after working at a bar together. The full band was then formed a few years later with our good friend on bass and we auditioned to meet our fantastic drummer and have been playing together now for 7 years.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

We love playing all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! We love getting the bride and groom dancing surrounded by all their family and friends.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We usually allow 90 minutes to set up and sound check, our standard times are 8-midnight for performing, it takes around 45 minutes to pack down. We offer an early set up at the cost of £150.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, however we ask for shade if it's hot, cover for if it rains - particularly for the equipment and a power supply close to the performing area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Depending on the package, for pubs and small parties we tend to choose our set, but will take into consideration what you do and don't like. For larger events and weddings we send out our repertoire beforehand and ask you to highlight songs you do and don't like specifically and will learn songs depending on the package.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Full of energy, getting everyone on the dancefloor and well rehearsed.
