The original tribute to the 70's has been bringing the house down all over the World since 1993 with the funkiest disco sounds around. Heavy Pencil has spawned hundreds of imitations all over the country but if you want the best you need go no further!

We played at virtually every university in the UK through the 90's and have since performed at corporate and private functions all over the world, even playing for HRH Prince Charles, The King Of Bahrain and at Sir Richard Branson's house. The band is made up of the UK’s top session musicians with names on our collective CV like James Brown, Robbie Williams, Tom Jones, Enrique Iglesias and Ronan Keating.

Our top class musicians and fantastic live shows have allowed us to be the UK's most successful 70's disco band dominating the market in world-wide corporate events to high-class private parties. Our line-up can be condensed down to a 6 piece (with two girl singers) or expanded up to a twelve piece (with four male & female singers, our all singing, all dancing brass section and a percussionist). Most of our work comes from word of mouth or repeat bookings - We've been working for some clients for nearly 20 years!
