Brought together by a shared love of music, Jay Catts play a range of events, from bars to weddings and corporate functions and currently find themselves as one of the resident bands at the world famous ‘Cavern Club’.
Always professional and punctual, all four members of the band are full-time musicians in their 20s. Their experience in music, audio engineering & music production, was crafted in their home town of Liverpool. Their energetic performances crackle with energy and individuality - they love what they do, and their mission is to ensure that the people who see them go home happy.
Together, the band has a collective experience of more than 60 years involved in professional music. Over the past six years they been crafting their trade, and their professionalism will change your perceptions of what ‘cover bands’ are capable of. After only a year of being together the bands arrangement of Justin Timberlake’s ‘Rock Your Body’ was used on ‘Nouvelle Star’ - the French version of Pop Idol.
With over 1000 shows under their belt over the past six years, Jay Catts have a unique understanding of what audiences want. They update their repertoire constantly – their set list is bang up to date, but also includes carefully chosen crowd pleasers from the 50s/60s onwards. Playing across Europe has honed their understanding of what different audiences and cultures want – hence their massive set list of hundreds of pop, rock, soul, Motown, country, funk, ska, reggae and hip-hop classics.
As well as the full-on four-piece treatment, you can also hire ‘Jay Catts unplugged,’ a smaller more intimate set customised for smaller venues or more low key occasions, such as restaurants, smaller weddings, christenings or family parties.
Whether you want a laid-back acoustic set or the more full-on live show, there really is no event they can't cater for.
