All prices include a small PA, a microphone, and instruments. A £100 deposit must be paid on booking, prices include VAT. Travel within the London Underground network is free of charge. However, if alternative transportation is used, a fee of 40 pence per mile per musician is applicable for their travel. Modifications to the booking must be communicated 48 hours prior to the scheduled booking time. The specified 48-hour timeframe is in place to enable the service provider or organiser to make necessary adjustments effectively. Late disclosures within this window may result in the service provider or organiser being unable to fulfil the request.

About / Biography

'G and the Jazzy Messengers' is a professional, top-class 2-5 piece jazz band with sophisticated vocals specialising in swing and Brazilian music for weddings, cocktail parties, corporate or private events, and reception drinks. Group size can vary from a duo to a quintet to suit a medium-size event (50-80 people).

The repertoire consists of classic jazz standards from 'The Great American Songbook' made famous by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O'Day, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole, etc., including timeless tunes like 'Fly Me to the Moon,' 'Summertime,' 'The Way You Look Tonight,' 'Nearness of You,' 'My One and Only Love', etc. The repertoire also features lively Brazilian songs by A.C. Jobim, such as 'The Girl from Ipanema',' Desafinado,' One note Samba', 'Chega de Saudade', 'Corcovado' etc. and vocaleses such as 'Moody's Mood for Love' famously performed by Amy Winehouse, 'Twisted' etc.

One of the most recent highlight performances was at the Guildhall Jazz Festival, held at the Milton Concert Hall as part of the EFG London Festival, alongside gigs at Green Note, Vortex, and Milton Concert Hall, and abroad concerts such as National Concert Hall in Dublin, Ireland, and Áras an Uachtaráin in Dublin.

All band members are recent graduates with a master's degree in prestigious conservatoires in London.
