New Sound are an exciting band based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and has travelled nationally for 100s of events since forming! Having played together so long, the band is constantly adding their own takes to great tunes and updating songs regularly. The band all love what they do and will make sure you and your guests have a great time, dancing all night!
Primarily a 5 piece band, New Sound can cover a wide variety of material to suit all ages. The band can even upgrade to add on a sax player or even a full brass section for a complete spectacle! New Sound can also play throughout your entire day if you're an avid music lover, performing for ceremonies and drinks receptions in smaller outfits.

We need at least a 4x5m space to perform, but bigger is better. We require a stable flat hard surface to perform on with at least 3 walls and a roof (if outdoors). We require an adequate supply of safe power sockets for our equipment.
We would provide our own PA, lighting and a background playlist for before, between and after sets for up to 30 minutes.
Any directions to the venue and any details how to load in our equipment. If ther is a specific entrance for us that is great to know as our equipment can be heavy!
If the venue has any noise or sound limiters, please let us know ahead of time as these can impact the quality of our performance.
Yes, we provide background music between our sets and for around 30 minutes after our final performance as we pack down. The client can provide their own playlist for this, or we can use one of our own.
