Norloch Ceilidh & Pop/ Rock Band with Full Mobile Disco/DJ can provide you with a wide range of musical styles.The Band can be a 3,4,or 5 piece lineup depending upon your budget & requirements.Our 3 piece line up includes:- Mike Slessor on Lead Fiddle/Dance Caller [to call & demonstrate all ceilidh dances on the dance floor, so all guests can learn the dance prior to the band playing the music, thus ensuring all guests can be dancing & involved], Dave Albiston on Rhythm Guitar & Vocals & Phil Condie on Djembe drum[West African Hand drum, which is miked at the top & bottom of the drum for full bass sounds] Hi-Hat & Vocals,the 3 piece also use a full backing midi system for the Cover songs from the 50s to 90s.With a full Mobile Disco with Lights & CD decks,Phil is our mobile DJ and has a full cd collection for all up to date music. So all ages are looked after! The 4 piece line up adds either Sheena Jardine, a Second Fiddle Player or Jim Blain,a Keyboard/bass player depending upon musician availability and client requirements. The 5 piece line up includes all musicians named above.
For bookings over 2 hours away from my home address, an over night stay with an evening meal,Bed & Breakfast for all musicians booked may have to be added to any booking fee quoted.

Requiring at least one 13 amp earthed socket in which to plug its PAT tested gear.
[1]Need 4 armless chairs for 3 piece line up & 1 chair for the DJ,plus a small table for the CDs or another 2 chairs
[2]Need 5 armless chairs for 4 piece line up & 1 chair for the DJ,plus a small table for the CDs or another 2 chairs
[3]Need 6 armless chairs for 5 piece line up & 1 chair for the DJ,plus a small table for the CDs or another 2 chairs
Bookings for Norloch Band with over 2 hours journey time will need an overnight stay, and this will add additional costs for the client such as an evening meal, bed & breakfast for all musicians involved.
Set up Times depend on easy access to the Stage at the times agreed, Normally 40-60 minutes before the booking is due to start will be required, if booking the band & mobile disco package. Up to 4 Car Parking Spaces,depending upon the size of the band line up, near the stage access is always best if possible?
Performance is normally up to 4 hours, with a 30 min break around the buffet or after 2 hours playing time. If booking the band/ disco package, it always best to have the disco on after the band!
