Available as a trio or as a larger 5 – 10 piece band, Plymouth based Real Steel brings a carnival feel to weddings or parties in Devon or Cornwall. Performing a mix of music that conjures up the spirit of the Caribbean, the band creates the perfect musical backdrop for a beach wedding or garden party. Expect a mix of calypso, reggae and ska, mixed with instrumental versions of popular songs from The Beatles to modern pop classics.
A steel pan trio can provide background music for a small drinks reception. The performance is acoustic and can take place out of doors if the weather is good enough, although the pans need to be placed in the shade, as they go out of tune if place in full sunlight. The shade of a building of tree is sufficient – or a parasol or gazebo.
Real Steel can also provide a 5 – 10 piece band for large events and public festivals. The band has won the UK Panorama Steel Pan Championships three times - you can be sure of a high quality professional performance when the band takes the stage!
