About / Biography

Robert is a professional musician playing Piano, Keyboards and Organ. He is very adaptable and can fit into most job situations at a moments notice.

Pleasant, unobtrusive background music at a conversational level for you and your guests as you arrive, and during your wedding reception. Only a small amount of room is required in the restaurant. If a piano is not available then a piano keyboard can be provided.

Repertoire is suited to each occasion. Requests will be played and content will be taken from, Elton John, Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra, The Carpenters etc, Songs from the shows, light classical and light jazz.

If you would like your wedding day pianist to be extra special, why not have your favourite pieces of music played live on the church organ, by a wedding organist and for your hymns and procession in and out of church. Robert Baker can provide and play a keyboard that sounds like an authentic Church Organ.

Summer seasons have been at many of Gt. Britain's seaside resorts such as Mablethorpe, Skegness, Great Yarmouth and Bridlington with the ‘Black and White Minstrel Show’ followed by ‘Olde Tyme Music Hall’ Starring Ray Alan and Lord Charles, Alan Randall, Bernie Clifton, Ross King, Susan Maughan, Bob Carrolgees and Jimmy Cricket. Jersey with the ‘Stuart Gillies Show,’ and a tour with the legendary Band Leader and Drummer Eric Delaney.

Robert spent nine years as Musical Director with Jimmy Cricket touring up and down the country with his show and the last few years has been spent as a Cocktail Pianist and Musical Director cruising many countries around the world with Royal Caribbean and P & O Cruises to places such as The Caribbean, Russia, the Mediterranean and South America.

Robert is currently the organist at his local church and teaches piano and organ privately.
