The Driven Bow Ceilidh Band was formed in 2011 with the idea to play music which is fantastic for listening as well as for dancing. Since then they have played for numerous weddings, parties, celebrations and cultural events – some big and some small. They never fail to get everyone up and dancing in time with the music – whether playing for seasoned ceilidh-goers or shy first-timers.

All the band members have many years experience performing traditional music in both ceilidh and concert settings, and Morag has been calling dances for over a decade. Morag and Lewis both have first class university qualifications in musical performance, and Lewis was awarded the prize for best final recital in his degree year group.

• Three piece: 1. Fiddle/calling 2. fiddle/banjo/mandola 3. guitar/bouzouki/accordion
• Four piece: as above plus percussion (usually bodhran)
