The Laurels gorgeous mellow female vocals with skilled acoustic guitar are a fantastic Acoustic Duo based in Somerset. They combine gorgeous mellow female vocals with skilled acoustic guitar to provide a beautiful ambience for any event. Singer Lucy and guitarist Murray have a wealth of experience between them, having performed throughout the country and abroad, as well as contributing to live session work on BBC1, and recordings on multiple albums.
The duo's repertoire features an eclectic mix of artists from Fleetwood Mac to Radiohead and Kylie Minogue to Bob Dylan!
The Laurels are influenced by many musical genres, from Americana and Indie Folk to Soul and Pop. As a result their sound and style is completely unique, taking well known songs and make them their own, giving them the Hornbeams twist.
