About / Biography

The Audio Allstars party band! Contemporary, professional and versatile band specialising in parties, weddings, corporate events and festivals. Playing classics from the past plus current dance floor fillers, with energy and performance guaranteeing that guests of all ages will be up singing and dancing - we turn every event into a party! We were Voted UK's #1 Wedding band in 2019 and Best Function Band (South) in 2020!

We offer:

  • Our core band - the award-winning 5-piece with vocals, guitar/vocals, bass/vocals, keyboards/synths and drums.
  • Add an amazing sax player/female vocalist into the mix and make it a 6-piece!
  • Acoustic Duo playing acoustic versions of current tunes and classics from the past while roaming among your guests at a champagne reception, performing as background music in a sit-down reception, charming your evening guests as they arrive, or on stage making the party happen!
  • Acoustic Trio - lively acoustic trio with our vocalist Gavin Munn on guitar, joined by upright bass/vocals and also by our percussionist. Perfect for wedding afternoons roaming among guests, corporate receptions and smaller private parties.
  • Sax/DJ session bringing that Ibiza/club vibe, great between the band's sets, an early evening chillout or late night add-on.
  • Solo piano...during a wedding ceremony, or as background during a drinks reception for example, bringing a touch of class.

All the band are super-experienced professional musicians who've worked with many big names in the music business. Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

1. stage/performance area approx 6m x 3m or 5m x4m, covered, level and dry. One safe 13A electric supply
2. good access and convenient parking for 4/5 cars
3. somewhere for 5 people to get changed, store instrument cases, clothes etc. if possible


Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own high-quality PA system as well as a lighting for the stage and some for the dance floor.


What information do you require about a venue?

Address, and the venue's contact person/number


Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, custom DJ service is included with every booking, for background/party music before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.


Do you have Insurance?

Yes - we have full Public Liablity Cover and our equipment is regularly safety tested, we can email you or your event planner/venue a copy of the current certificates on request. Most venues require bands to have this level of cover (so that the venue meets it's own insurance requirements), it's always worth checking this when you book any bands or musicians.
We play larger venues and festivals regularly too, so we also have ready to send - Technical Specifications, Method Statement, and Risk Assessment sheets, just ask if you need them.

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

We've performed in so many beautiful venues, but playing at Wembley Stadium was definitely one to remember!


Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We love the songs and artists that stand the test of time - ones that people all know and dance to, even if they can't remember where they heard them first!


What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We're seasoned musicians and entertainers with an impressive track record from weddings to corporate galas, even Wembley Stadium. Our musicians have donned various hats, from touring Europe with Grammy-Nominated artists, to rocking stages alongside Moby, Arctic Monkeys and The Sugababes, performing for the prestigious Bolshoi Ballet and contributing to Walt Disney Company's West End productions. We've even shared screen space with Kevin Costner in a Hollywood movie!


What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Our favourite events to play are the ones that really matter to people.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

45 Minute minimum to set up...we don't need long if time is tight!
2 hours total performance not including breaks, example 2x60 minutes, 3x40 minutes, 2 x45 minutes - whatever you prefer and works best for your event.
DJ/Background Music with custom playlist before/after & during breaks.
Quality PA included, suitable for audiences up to 200 people , with LED stage lighting for band, sweep/scan lighting for dance floor. Can easily expand light or sound if needed, with specialist engineers available for larger events.
Working with venue sound limiters is not a problem.


Are you happy to perform outside?

Absolutely! Our roaming solo/duo/trio can wander among guests at an outdoor reception, and our band has played festivals and outdoor events of every kind.


Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We're always open to requests for special songs, just give us time to learn them if we don't know them already :) We've also had 'special guests' of the client on stage to sing or play with us. Almost as important, you can tell us if there's a tune you don't like, and we'll avoid it!


How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Can I choose the band's set list?

You've probably seen our songlist already here and on our website. We're always happy to include any favourites you have from there (or miss any out that you don't like!), but please don't write a set list for us, this gives us no flexibility if your guests don't like the same music as you do! It's best to trust us, we've been making audiences happy for many years at all kinds of events, part of our expertise is understanding what audiences like so they have a great time!


How long do you play for?

We play for up to a total of two hours on stage, typically 2x60 minute sets with one break, or three 40 minute sets with two breaks. If your event would be better served by different timings, say one of 90 minutes, or two of 45 minutes, that's no problem: we'll simply arrange the timings to be flexible with whatever else is happening during your event. We usually arrive by 6pm (allowing 1 hour to set up) and finish by midnight. If you need us to arrive earlier or stay later, just let us know in advance of the event.


Do you provide DJ or background music between your sets?

Yes, we provide a virtual DJ service for when the band isn't playing, so there can be background or party music throughout the evening. If you want to choose the DJ playlist (maybe a themed evening, or your favourite tunes) just let us know, we can arrange that with you too.


Can you play for our first dance?

Yes, absolutely! If your chosen song is not already in our repertoire (click here) we may be able to learn it especially for your wedding day, or of course we can play the original recorded version for you. Let us know your song choice in advance... it's good to be prepared!
