We simply require access to a good power source, and a picture/description of the Venue. Before the gig, we'd also like to discuss a client's repertoire requirements, to ensure a right fit.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

We come with our own sound equipment, but if the client has mixers we are happy to plug in too. We are flexible.

What information do you require about a venue?

What sound equipment already exists, or we need to bring.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

We are indeed open to this. We can play from our playlist, or the client can select, and we meet in between.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

The best gig was Silverstone in 2019, playing to thousands of people over 3 days. This was an absolutely incredible experience.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Our musical journey has been shaped by a diverse range of artists who have left an indelible mark on the world of music. Drawing inspiration from various genres and eras, our influences include a tapestry of legendary musicians and contemporary innovators.

Among the artists who have profoundly impacted our sound are The Beatles, who have left an enduring legacy with their groundbreaking approach to songwriting and studio experimentation. Their ability to seamlessly blend genres and create timeless melodies has been a guiding light for our creative process.

Another significant influence has been the soulful sounds of Aretha Franklin. Her powerful vocals and emotive delivery have served as a source of inspiration, pushing us to infuse our music with raw emotion and authenticity.

In the realm of modern music, Radiohead stands out as a transformative force. Their experimental approach, genre-defying soundscapes, and thought-provoking lyrics have encouraged us to explore new sonic territ

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We usually arrive about 2 hours before the performance to prep. We then soundcheck, then perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets, or longer, depending on the client.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Absolutely. As long as we have a power supply nearby and adequate cover for us and our equipment if in challenging weather conditions.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Absolutely. Partway through our set, we invite the crowd to share their requests, and we incorporate them into our setlist.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

The Soul Brothers were fantastic, not only were did they have great soul sound, with a tight and a bill wither voice. They were also really easy to deal with and couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend. 5*********
