Solo Guitar for 2 hours | £200 |
My act is best described as cocktail piano music, played on guitar. I have arrangements from a wide range of genres, including jazz, classical, pop, and country. Your ear will no doubt pick up on instrumental versions of songs on my set lists, and I aim to deliver a low-key, sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere with a smile, and a willingness to incorporate pre-requested songs into my set list. I require little space or hassle, and because there is only one of me just think of the money you'll save!
I've been playing music for 10 years, starting when I was 14 in 2006. Since then, I have studied under some of the best sessions musicians in the UK at the London Centre of Contemporary Music, were I achieved a 2:1 in Musical Performance in Guitar. Since then I have begun forging my career as a musician through teaching guitar with the expansive company Your Guitar Academy, playing with various acts and function bands across London and South England and playing solo gigs for functions and restaurants.
I enjoy playing such a wide range of genres, so if jazz isn't your thing, I also perform vintage pop songs such as 'Close To You' by The Carpenters, or 'Hallelujah' by Jeff Buckley to name a few, and have even performed such specialist music events that require medieval music!
If you like what you hear then please do get in touch and I'll do my best to make your event as joyful for you as it will be for me.

Bachs cello prelude
Fly me to the moon
Close to you
Here comes the sun
Isn’t she Lovely
I want you Back
Wonderful world
Wonderful tonight
Don’t know why
All the small things
You’ve got a friend
You’ve got a friend in me
Somewhere over the rainbow
How deep is your love
Without you
Make you feel my love
Go the distance
Reflection
Stand by me
Can’t help falling in love with you
Whenever you come around
Halo
My girl
When you say nothing at all
Hero
All of me
Just the two of us
Your song
Perfect
Thinking out loud
Love is a verb
All star
Heart will go on
I need a small space of about 2 meters x 2 meters, and only require 1 socket.
I provide everything that is required, so no worries on your end.
Any information regarding the easiest load-in is always appreciated!
No I am unable to provide music in between sets, if you wish for me to take a break.
Whilst I have travelled far and wide as part of different bands, my solo act takes me mostly to various venues around the UK. My favourite gig was in the beautiful Castle Grove Country House in Donegal for a wedding.
The guitar player who has most influenced me would have to be John Mayer. Many hours were spent in my youth listening to and copying his music and guitar playing.
I started gigging for various different bands and acts in university, and carried on from there mainly in wedding bands and performing my solo act.
Weddings! But I have throughly enjoyed playing different corporate events or even birthdays.
I'm afraid all I need to take with me is my guitar and an amp, to keep it light! So I am unable to provide a PA.
My typical performance time is 2 hours, sometimes with a short break after one hour but have been known to just play on through, but I can happily change this to suit.
Yes outside is fine, as long as I have a power socket available (and it doesn't rain!)
I can learn a song or two ahead of the performance if requested.
I would hope they would describe me as providing a tasteful and light atmosphere to help along a sophisticated evening!
