Jem are a muti-instrumental acoustic duo, comprising of Saxophonist Jon and Guitarist Emily. Jem Moon provide musical entertainment including Jazz and Popular. With over 17 years of combined performance experience, playing at weddings, private parties, functions and festivals. With their unique class and cool charm, Jem succeed at providing a truly captivating performance. Previous musical performances have included; hotels, restaurants, clubs, parties, weddings, funerals, corporate events, festivals, artisan markets and many more. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Jem Moon play for events all over the UK including; Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire… and many more.

Jem are available for local and nationwide events throughout the UK, England, Scotland and Wales. International enquiries are welcome. Jon has been performing as a professional saxophonist for over 13 years. He has extensive musical experience is most types of events including; weddings, funerals, private parties, corporate parties/events, nightclubs (playing alongside a house DJ), restaurants, hotels and more. Not only an accomplished and adept musical performer, Jon is an exceptionally talented musical improviser, able to play freestyle. Jon brings tremendous excitement and energy to any event, be it a vibrant party or the feel of a relaxed jazz lounge, Jon’s versatility is perfect for any event. Jon has acquired a distinct and unique musical style. His many qualifications include: Grade 8 Classical Saxophone (ABRSM) BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology BA Hons Degree in Music As an immensely proficient musician, Jon is able to perform for any genre required including; classical,
jazz, blues, swing, dance, soul, gypsy, funk, rock and roll, reggae, latin, romantic, popular covers, brass, harmony etc.

As an accomplished and talented rhythm guitarist, Emily has performed in a variety of events including; Artisan Markets, festivals and fairs. As a singer songwriter, Emily has developed her playing ability over the years to accommodate a wide variety of genres including; popular covers, classics, jazz, lounge, folk and gypsy. Emily and Jon have been playing together as a musical duet for over 5 years. They balance their musical harmony, rhythm and melody together. Their music is naturally enhanced by their connection and magnetism as a couple.
