For acoustic sets just a parking space and room for ourselves with two guitars.
For amplified sets an area of 6' by 6' for our PA, stands and mics if needed.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment.
We’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We love performing at all kinds of events, and any gig is our favourite where we can communicate and connect to our audience!
We have an eclectic range of influences between us! To name a few: Franco Corelli, Maria Callas, Giacomo Puccini, Ralph Vaughan-Williams, Sting, Kate Bush, John Denver, Joan Baez... the list goes on! The greatest song of all time is another difficult one to answer... we'll go with one of our favourite songs to sing together - "The Impossible Dream".
We met singing in opera and formed the duo. At first we performed with pianist and/or backing tracks, but we added the guitars so that we're completely self contained and can travel anywhere together to sing!
We love performing in concert in music festivals, churches, theatres, village halls... but generally just love performing!
If full PA is required, set up time is 30 minutes
For acoustic sets, set up time only 15 minutes
Performance times range from one or two songs for wedding ceremonies or other special occasions to a full 1 hour and 30 minutes for a headlining show.
Performances for cabaret slots are usually between 30 mins - 1 hour.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area if amplification is needed.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 3 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
"Enchanting", "beautiful harmonies", "authentic and original".
