About / Biography

Will is a versatile guitarist and musician. He graduated from the Royal College of Music with First Class Honours and was winner of the 2018 RCM guitar prize. He studied with Gary Ryan and Chris Stell and jazz guitar with Milton Mermikedes. Will began learning electric guitar at the age of 8 but showed great interests in different styles of music picking up the classical at age 12.

He has an eclectic repertoire ranging from classical, Spanish jazz, Latin and Pop. Will is very flexible and can play a variety genres for specific occasions. Will has become popular with his compositions and arrangements he has written for weddings or special occasions.

Will has had years of experience playing at weddings, corporate events, dinner parties and special occasions. Will has proved to be very popular by creating a subtle ambient sound relaxes the guests making the occasions more entertaining. Past performances have been at the National Portrait Gallery, Drapers’ Hall, Kings Place, The V&A, Two Temple Place, Somerset House, Whitechapel Gallery and The South Bank Centre.

Since leaving college, Will has done recitals around the UK and Europe. Will was accepted on the International Guitar Foundations Young Artist Platform where he has premiered new guitar works. He has also recorded music for BBC television.
