How do I find bands in my local area?
Visit the advanced search page (or home page), select the category (e.g. “Bands”) and Type (e.g “Wedding Bands”) then select your county (or postcode) and click “Submit”. All of the artists who are available in the area yout chose or are willing to travel there will then be shown. E.g.
Do I need to tell the venue that I have booked a band?
Yes. Your venue may need a licence for live music so it always a good to let your venue know if you are hiring a band. A lot of venues also have sound limiters or strict rules on volume levels so this is worth discussing with them in case it’s a problem. They will probably […]
I have booked a band with drums, will the drums be too loud?
Playing at the appropriate volume is extremely important to most of our clients. If it is required, the drummer will play with ‘brushes’ which make them very quiet and perfectly balanced with the other instruments. Discuss volume with your band leader if you think it may be an issue.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Our most popular bands get booked up years in advance so it is always a good idea to book as far in advance as possible. However, it is sometimes possible to make a booking right up to the last minute! View our Band Booking Checklist for more tips on booking a live band.
Can I cancel my booking?
You will need to speak to the band about cancelling your booking. Part or all of the total fee may be retained as a cancellation fee which should be outlined on your contract.
