With over 15 years+ experience I’ve been playing the bagpipes at numerous special occasions all across Scotland and overseas. I’ve also had the honour to play for the late Queen Elizabeth ll and the newly appointed King Charles lll on many special occasions in Royal Deeside where we were so lucky to meet and greet them.

i really enjoy playing my bagpipes at weddings because I feel like I bring joy and loving emotion to the wedding party and I love seeing how happy everyone is on the day. Bagpipes just give that special touch to a wedding, they still make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up yet.

I’ve done a large numbers of funerals over the years aswell, it’s always tough and sad to see but being able to comfort the family throughout the sad period is such an honour. The skirl of the pipes can bring everyone together no matter what the circumstances are.

Available to pipe at corporate events/ birthday party’s/ graduations/ burns suppers/ Hogmanay, the list is endless, I have a vast selection of tunes I can play to suit any occasion.

I love playing my pipes and seeing the joy that it brings folk, I always give 100% every engagement I am playing for and turn up dressed very smartly from wearing my No.1 uniform and my No.2.

I am proud and honoured to be the Pipe Major of Ballater & District Pipe Band which I took on the roll 5 years ago. Leading the band with my expert playing ability and professionalism across Scotland around the Highland Games circuit and doing numerous events such as playing in Belgium and France is such a pleasure to do.
