The Ace Jazz Band provided brilliant strolling entertainment for Market Weighton’s Coronation Big Lunch Event. A perfect visual attraction with toe tapping music. Easy to book and great value. Highly entertaining for all.

My dad's last wishes were for his wake to be a happy party with a Dixieland Jazz Band. He certainly got his wish. The Ace Jazz Band played exactly what my dad would have loved, and people were dancing and remembering fondly how dad used to dance to such music. Alan, the leader, was easy to deal with, well organised and sociable. Thank you for making the eake more like a wedding!

I hired The Ace Jazz Band for my dads funeral. My dad knew his prognosis as was adamant it was to be a celebration of life for him. With the help of the band - we made this happen. I had positive feedback from friends and family. The band are extremely talented and professional. They ensured the service was upbeat with the music which helped to lift our spirits. I know my dad would have loved them and I’m sure he looked down on us with a smile that day. Thank-you The Ace Jazz Band. Can’t recommend you enough.

You guys played at our wedding on 18th August this year. We've been super slow in sending out our thank yous, apologies for that.

I didn't get the chance to have a chat on the day - it went so, so quickly. You guys really made it. We had so many comments on how great you all were. And can't thank you enough for getting our requests in!

We hired The Ace Jazz Band to perform at our street party event which we were filming for a digital television brand. They were highly professional and easy going to work with as well as brilliant musicians individually and as a band. The street crowd loved their jaunty, uplifting and perfectly orchestrated songs. They’re lovely men with great energy and we would highly recommend them to play at any party event/ live music event or filming production.

We recently booked The Ace Jazz Band for our wedding at the end of June. Needless to say, they were absolutely amazing. We had them set up on the lawn of our venue as a surprise for our guest (we hadn’t told anyone about them) and the guys were extremely accommodating in doing this. We asked them to arrive at a different entrance to the venue so our guests wouldn’t see them, which they were absolutely fine with doing so. Their performance on the day was first class and all of our guests loved them - and are still talking about them to this day! All the guys are extremely friendly and were a pleasure to speak to, before and on the day. Couldn’t recommend them enough!!

These guys were FANTASTIC!
We had a picnic section to our wedding and they set the scene beautifully with incredible dixieland jazz. Boaters and ham sandwiches all round!
Such lovely chaps that clearly love what they do. Thank you for just being you.

The band were really good and really captured the crowd with their music. They created a wonderful atmosphere at the event. Would definitely work with this band again as they were so lovely and helped us out at the last minute which was amazing.

‘Last week was marvellous. In fact the weather was so nice the marquee ended up being c90 degrees and the chocolate starting to seriously melt !

Thank you so much for playing at my Dad's 90th Birthday on the boat last Saturday. The music was fantastic and you looked the part too, really complemented the boat setting and pulled the evening together! Hello chaps, this is Phil Peake. You played at my mother-in-law's party today. From Ann, my wife Linda and I and all our family and friends, we wanted to say a huge thank you for your services. Following a huge achievement of winning a prestigious industry award, we arranged for a secret day of celebrations for our 100 employees at our offices. We arranged for The Ace Jazz Band to kick off the celebrations by entering our office playing the most energetic and uplifting music which was a wonderful surprise to staff who eagerly jumped up out of their seats to follow the marching band and dance their way around the office. The place was 'buzzing' everyone LOVED it. We had numerous surprises for everyone but The Ace Jazz Band was by far the highlight and what people remember the most about the day. They are fantastic. You can't help but get up on your feet and dance along. We will definitely be hiring them again for future events - we can't wait for them to play for us again!

I new nothing of this band, only that I'd left it very late to book so had no other choices! All my dealings with Alan were clear, helpful and very obliging. Nothing was too much trouble, from the type of music, number of musicians, outfits, length of playing time/breaks. They arrived in the Cotswolds from Yorkshire early, set up effortlessly, liased with the disco jockey and started playing just before the guests arrived. WOW!! Without exception, everyone danced. They set the whole party alight. How lucky were we to stumble across them. Use them, listen to them! They're fantastic!!!

We hired The Ace Jazz Band for our barge party on the river at Leeds. The band were a great addition to our river trip and everyone enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere they created.
